I started feeling nostalgic about a character called PIRO, which I used to draw years ago, and decided to bring him into the world I create now.

PIRO was originally a character from a world of animals, created as someone who belongs nowhere in particular. In this piece, he appears as a mechanic who runs his own shop.

Set against the AE86, with PIRO standing on a beer crate next to the driver, this work became a kind of prototype for where I want to take my work next.
